To: All members of all constituent Masonic Lodges in Michigan,

**EDICT**

In keeping with the State of Emergency that is now declared both federally and in our State of Michigan and acting under my authority as Grand Master of Masons in Michigan, I do hereby order all Lodge activities, including but not limited to all Regular and Special Communication of constituent lodges – Cancelled for the remainder of the month of March and the month of April 2020. This edict will be reviewed regularly and if the state of emergency is lifted, I will revisit this order.

While this situation will resolve itself, please be sure and keep in touch with those that are elderly and/or have health issues that place them at higher risk for exposure. Call them, reach out to them and let them that you are there for them. They may need assistance with groceries, or prescriptions and have very few resources of their own. It is up to you and to me to make sure we take care of our Brothers! Let us be the light in this time of uncertainty. If they, or you, have any issues, refer them to the live better at home program at the Masonic Home. They can be reached by calling 800-321-9357.

We understand that this is early in the stages of contagion and spread of the illness. These guidelines will be reviewed daily and new guidance may be forthcoming depending on governmental oversight, or mandates. As the situation evolves, we will send notice to you as soon as any changes in these policies are required.
